Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Checks and inspects product against predetermined quality standards
- Packaging of products properly (Includes tagging, bagging & boxing)
- Maintain a clean press and work area
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds from floor to chest occasionally, 10 pounds consistently
- Good hand – eye coordination
- Eye sight must be able to see flaws in material including slight color variations
- Consistent use of hands/arms for fine manipulation
- Must be able to rotate daily to every “operator” position, meaning must be physically able to inspect and package all products on the floor
- Must be able to walk, stand on concrete entire 8 hour shift, and bend frequently
- Use of small hand tools such as swivel knife tool repetitively during entire shift
Education & Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Basic Math & Reading skills
- School diploma or equivalent preferred
